I've been invited to take part in one of the exhibitions organized by the collective Polyphonous during Munich Jewellery Week this year! Unfortunately, I happen to be in the middle of an especially broke moment, and the thought of another maxed out credit card makes me want to barf in my mouth...so I'm doing a fundraiser!
What are the treats?
2 different sheets of stickers to choose from (mock up above) for $15/sheet
a reversible sequin pillow case with a jewelry print for $50
a puzzle featuring a mess of my work (mock up below) for $60
Do these all sound like the makings of a weirdo tween bedroom? Yes! But you can be that weirdo tween! And you can read more about the above items, more about my practice in general, and why this exhibition is so exciting at my fundraiser.
If you can contribute some resources right now, I really and truly appreciate it. And if you can't, I completely understand that too. Either way, thank you for the support by sticking with me and my work.
You can follow along more at my instagram as I plug along in the studio...

Thanks to Sandie Zilker for this photo from the resin workshop I did for her students at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, TX! This class is specifically for unusual surface applications of both epoxy and composite resins, with an emphasis on experimentation and material research. Now scheduling Goo School for 2019 and beyond so e-mail me!
After a year away, I'll be returning for my 6th year exhibiting at SIERAAD in the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. It will also be the first time I've had a solo booth there since my first year in 2012, and all of the work will be fresh to the fair. Much of it will be debuting for the first time, and in particular, a new series using found plastic "gems" that I'm pretty dang tickled about!
So come find me at Stand 69 if you're in the neighborhood! 17th edition of SIERAAD Art Fair 8-11 November 2018. LOCATION: Westergasfabriek Amsterdam.
I'm all out of free passes for the fair, but I can offer this discount pass that you can print and fill out!
And if you can't make it to Amsterdam for SIERAAD... I'll be at Craftboston Holiday, December 14th-16th!
Sometimes being a "good citizen/art hermit" means guzzling coffee in the studio while blasting podcasts about the united hellscape of america and making as many shiny-gooey-wonder-babies as I can manage. I only go outside to get lost in the woods and poke mushrooms with sticks. Sorry if I haven't been around as much, but I'm about to get out and about a lot more...

I'm getting ready to show at Craftboston for the first time this year! (Oh yeah! Awesome!)
I'm super excited, but also in a money crunch! (Oh no! Gross!)
Pretty please hit me up if you've had your eye on anything! I'm up for some wheeling and dealing as long as you play nice. I'll do freeshipping anywhere in the weeks leading up to the show! I can also earmark something for you and have you scoop it up in Boston if you just want to call dibs first.
Check out my Etsy store and use this link or just use code: GITIT at checkout. If you have something particular in mind that I haven't listed yet because I'm too busy in the studio, let me know and I'll crawl through the mountain of in-stock critters to send you some pics. This way, you can scoop it up before the show no matter where you are!
And if you're on the east coast, I hope you can come by and see me at the show!

Much like an off shore ocean current, I've had a lot of hot activity on top bring old nutrients up from the briny depths.
With all the new work coming out of the studio in the past year, a lot of galleries that I work with did a refresh. I'm getting to reacquaint myself with a few critters that had been out working the show-pony circuit for some time, and now they are ready to retire (for cash!)
I've picked up representation in some new locales going into 2018, and a couple more will likely be added in the coming months. This is good news because my house is bursting with clear plastic bins scrawled with my code names for pieces, and crowding out vital work space in our little duplex!
For my fellow Iowans, I've now got work at Gilded Pear Gallery, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is especially exciting because they have just jumped into the deep end of the contemporary jewelry pool.
If you're in Venice, check out OHMYBLUE. The gallery is fresh, and I'm in very good company with the other artists they represent!
I'm also tickled to be a part of a new project by Lisa Berman of Sculpture to Wear. She will be introducing contemporary jewelry to a new audience with an exhibition titled "Indelible" featured at Kopeikin Gallery in L.A. for the beginning of December.
I've got some images of pieces listed on etsy down below, but I have soooooo much more work than that. If you're looking for something in particular, please let me know! I'm happy to send images of what I have on hand if you're in the market for some special critters.
